Fixing stuff around yourself

On returning home from university, this was the mess created by my brother in the drawing-room. This is the place where we both do our home-works and stuff. I have a habit of cleaning and setting all the things to the right places and this mess was getting on my nerves. So, before cleaning it I remembered about the assignment I got, and instantly I took the picture of it.

I had to face this situation usually but this time I am including it in my blog for the very first time. I would like to thanks AMAL ACADEMY for providing this opportunity where I could express my feeling after cleaning it too.

This is picture clearly shows how many things need to be fixed. I had to clean the whole area.

1) Unnecessary stuff on the sofa:

· Hanger, books, laptop, a shopper, papers, and a bowl at the corner.

2) Unnecessary stuff on side table:

· A tray, plug, socks, sanitizer, power bank, hands-free, Chapstick(lip balm) and so many papers.

One can notice how many unnecessary things are kept are here. I fixed them by keeping all the things at their right places, dusting and cleaning the sheets, fixed curtains, and placing a pillow(Picture attached below)

And tadaaa!!! It is cleaned now before seen by mom :D

After cleaning the mess I really felt relaxed! This clean environment gives so much positivity and energy to work freshly.

“The objective of cleaning is not just to clean, but to feel happiness living within that environment.” — Marie Konda

My mother actually had an appointment with her doctor so no one was at home to get it cleaned. I realized the need to fix this up myself and not wait for the maid or mom to fix this area. If she was there and the things were messed up like this, I would still do this by myself ( but this happens rarely, as mothers can’t let us create a mess around)

Talking about leadership, it's all about realizing the need for change and taking initiative. The same thing I did here, I realized my responsibility and cleaned up. This was not the first time doing this, that’s my daily routine. This time I am writing a blog on it is because it's my assignment. But from next time I think I would continue writing to similar topics where we as a citizen, as a human being, as a Muslim need to realize where a positive change is needed and start working for that without being instructed to do it i.e. being a leader without authority.
