“The timetable is protracted, fatigue increases, productivity drops, and the timetable again is protracted.”
Francesco Cirillo

As said above, my timetable is always long, sometimes seem never-ending.

I have a habit of delaying work as I get distracted much due to multiple thoughts. So after learning about this Pomodoro technique, I implemented it in my work. I followed the following steps:

So here my frog was my University Quiz which was 2 days ahead. Getting motivated to study for the exam has always been the most hateful thing for every student, as for me I always do it one night before the exam (deadline).

After discovering about this technique I decided to eat this hateful frog by setting the timer to 25 minutes. During this preparation, I got distracted multiple times. Firstly not having the habit of studying earlier, second was the continuous thoughts poping to mind to give it up and do something better than this. Either I should put it back and study later on or do something better like, complete my AMAL online course PW or work on my university’s FYP. third was the distraction from the cell phone. I was eagerly trying to pick my mobile and start surfing the internet.

Overcoming all the distractions I did not stop myself and stayed focused on the work. I studied continuously for 25 minutes and stopped when the alarm rang. I felt so accomplished after doing this activity. After taking a break of 5–10 minutes I continued this activity keeping the mobile’s Wi-Fi off and at silent mode. I will continue working the same giving a hard punch to all distractions and will just stay focused.

I would end it by saying that Yes we all have multiple tasks to be achieved, so it's better to start with the biggest, hardest, and most important task. that what we learned from this Pomodoro technique. The first step is just to start!

YOU DONT HAVE TO SEE THE WHOLE STAIRCASE. YOU JUST HAVE TO TAKE THE FIRST STEP.
